This woman lost her child, and with it her faith, and did not know what to do, until this beautiful prayer arose in her.
So you see that you can also speak to God in this way.
For me a very important prayer in which I found much strength

Prayer of Marie Noël

My God, I do not love you,

I do not even desire it,

I am bored with you.

Maybe I do not believe in you!

But look at me for a moment,

hide for a moment in my soul,

put it in order in the blink of an eye,

without letting it show,

without telling me anything.

If you would like me to believe in you,

give me faith.

If you would like me to love you,

give me love:

I have none and can do nothing.

What I have I give you:

my weakness, my pain,

the tenderness that torments me

and that you see,

the despair,

the helpless shame,

my pain, nothing but my pain,

and my hope.

That is all.
