Welcome
Where science ends and religion begins, there we find Gnosticism, which is not a religion, not a philosophy, not a sect, but an age-old means to find your own divinity and to seek a path to our age-old origins.
Welcome to this website, which is a lasting record of my life experiences and years of thinking about this life. Also an elaboration of a spiritual journey that I made throughout my life and this resulted in my own vision about the philosophy of the church, society and faith. In my life I became increasingly aware of the images that those in power in churches created and demanded something of me that I could not fulfill, because I felt that it wasn't right. Gradually I looked for other ways to free myself from that frustration that is expressed and used against the believers.
Our heart occupies a very important place next to the brain and we can say that the heart is a fifth part of the brain. When head and heart are well attuned to each other, they can communicate with each other in a natural way, because then there is peace and tranquility.
However, it is necessary to grow in self-knowledge that connects us with our true Source. With the opening of the heart we are born as individuals and that means indivisible and whole. You are then rooted in the deep primal ground of your existence. As an inner whole person you can then communicate with each other in an equal way and contribute to the unity in the world. However, this birth is connected to growing self-knowledge.
The Dalai Lama says the following about this.
"Those who live fleetingly will experience emptiness as frightening and will do everything to avoid it and turn into power.
Those who live attentively, emptiness is a fertile breeding ground, inexhaustibly rich in life force and insight.
Empty means selfless and is comparable to zero and in itself zero is nothing and yet something.
Without zero we cannot make ten or a hundred.
The same goes for empty. It is empty and at the same time the basis of everything.
Those who live consciously, live from the creative emptiness."
At the moment I came to faith I did not know any better than what I was taught at school. Gradually I discovered my own spirituality and distanced myself from religious rigidities. In addition, I have a strong opinion about faith, but I am flexible and can listen well to the opinion of another and know how to respect it, as long as it is not imposed on me.
My own life is my own guide and leader. There are no ready-made answers that can satisfy everyone, no book, no teacher, no source outside of the person himself and no one can fill in what growth I need.
Along the natural path of awakening consciousness I discovered the touchstone of truth in myself and know that this does not derive its authority from one or another person, but finds its origin in the depths of my soul and that is my discovery.
My thousand lights in life and many ancient wisdoms and modern philosophers, psychologists and spirituals have assisted me in this, so that I arrive at this current vision, because I investigate everything and retain the good. On their shoulders I may continue.
I am not the type to remain in sacred houses, but am always on a pilgrimage and seek new paths, because this view of my life gives me great satisfaction
